Solar Funeral label/distro.

DIY label and distro ran out of the love for the music, the ideas and the need to dream. I have no interest in releasing the "next big thing" or "band of the week." Why are you here?

RELEASES: Limited, Hellbanger versions are not done to create an artificial value increase. It is done for fun and as an extra bonus to people that still love to buy records as opposed to simply downloading MP3s. Vinyl is for people that like to take the time to fully experience a band's output, to immerse ourselves in the sonic fury and scour every inch of the lyrics and liner notes. Hellbanger versions will automatically be sent out with direct mail orders while available.

DISTRO: I try to focus on lesser known bands that deserve to be known! So if you don't see a lot of the bigger names or bands that you recognize, that is why, those can usually be found in many other places. Take a chance on something, you may be surprised.

DISTROS, STORES, LABELS, BANDS: I am always up for trading, but I have to be picky. Feel free to send your lists! Otherwise, wholesale is an option as long as my release is available.

Ordering.

Paypal buttons on this website now work for orders around the world. Shipping/payment processing fees will be automatically added as you go through the Paypal process.

Orders within the United States will go out by First Class USPS if it is a 7", zine or cassette. Media Mail is generally used for orders above one pound. For anything lighter than an LP the shipping charge is $2.50 and for anything heavier than 1 LP, the shipping charge is $3.00 flat no matter how much you get, so it works in your favor to buy multiple items.

Orders outside the country will be shipped by First Class International mail from our Postal Service. For large international orders, I may add insurance at my own expense, but that means that I will have to mark the true cost on the customs form. The shipping calculations have to be pretty basic, so any gross overcharges will be refunded once I pack up the order, and I may contact you if the shipping charge was way too low.

If you would like priority shipping and/or insurance, email for a total. You don't need a Paypal account to use the ordering buttons.

You will receive a confirmation email once your order is ready to ship (and probably another one from Paypal). Orders within the United States will get a delivery confirmation# where you will be able to crudely track your order.

You also have the option to order by mail. Send in an email with your order first to make arrangements. I will hold the order for two weeks while your money order comes through the mail.

Shipping.

To protect the record cover from damage in transit, I will always ship an LP record outside the cover, even if the record was shrink wrapped. Send me a message if you do not want this done.

I try to use recycled materials as much as possible for shipping...of course, as long as the materials are good enough quality/sturdy enough to protect the package. This helps me keep costs down and also lessens the environmental impact.
